You will find yourself inhabiting a new perspective. Looking up where you looked down before. The world has grown 8 sizes, or have you shrunk? You will step into the life of small denizens of the forest. You’re a critter or fairy born in between the blades of grass from the forest. You are part of the fey community, humanity, elves and dwarf civilization has fallen, the world has reverted back to you, but with it the dangers of prey and predator.

Don’t worry, you’ll not be alone. You have your band made up from your friends, and the words Scintillate Luckfinder has written in this almanac to guide you. They will guide you to grow and overcome the dangers all around you. But for now, just remember, cats pounce, and those red berries with silver crown are poisonous.

You’ll get you pick a Seed (species) from the entrepreneurial tightknit Dornip, the easy-going lackadaisical Frogkin, the hiveminded assertive Glabri, the tortured and recovering Killmoulis, the playful & curious yet shy Pixies, the communal teamwork focus Marafiki meerkats, the awakend tree-seeds with the knowledge of their elders Sproutlings, or the strict aloof caste based birds the Tjiriei.

Luckfinder’s Almanac is a Table Top Role Playing game where 1 to 6 players and 1 special player called the Storyweaver cooperate in telling a story together. Much like a boardgame, but also much more open ended. The Storyweaver —as the Game Master— is able to react to any action the other players are willing to take, and to make their characters live difficult. The Storyweaver is the world and the other players the protagonists.

Luckfinder’s Almanac is a TTRPG that focuses on character growth. It lowers the choices at the start of the game but makes every level a little step on the Talent web. Your Seed gives you strong bonuses, but should not be a restriction. You are able to put all your talent points in Earth-talents as a pixie, and be the toughest pixie there is. Or put all your talents points in Animus- and Water-talents as a Rafiki and become a powerful mage.

Whatever you do, you make your way through wild nature, hide in the unbelievably tall transparent towers made by the ancient ones, as you wait for the owl to stop hovering for dinner. Find the tags that indicate a hospitable settlement is nearby. Make friends, intimidate enemies, so they hand you the resources you need to craft that new wand.
